does any one have a copy of the actual design on this cake, someone suggested it was done with a silicone mat and sugar veil.  Any help would be appreciated, as i have to do this cake for an end of the year wedding. thank you

AYes. It looks like it's sugar veil. Probably free handed. I'm thinking they probably sketched out their design first and then made that and let it dry.

Sugar veil is quite pricey as well are the mats. I have been putting off purchasing in hopes for a cheaper alternative. Global Sugar Art just put out a new product similar to SV that is called Sugar Dress. It costs less and the mats are cheaper too. There is a YouTube video on how to use it on the Global Sugar Art channel.
