I have seen pictures of cakes that have a banner strung across a cake using straws or dowels.  I don't know what is used for the banner.  Has anyone done a cake like this and what did you use?

AFor my banner is used two of the tallest straws I could find, cotton bakers twine and fondant mixed with tylose rolled very thin. I cut a small slash in top of straws, tied a knot at each end of the twine and strung banner HOpe this helps

AI made triangles and folded the top down over the twine (the fold to the back) used a bit of sugar glue
