Hi all. Based in the UK and just looking for ideas other than sugar\isomalt beer bottles for a cake. So far, I have only modelled with ready to roll icing but this is going to be too heavy for full size beer bottles. I can't seem to find a decent beer bottle mold in the uk and bit nervous about making sugar bottles...??

I haven't tried edible modelling paste - would this be lighter once modelled.

I also looked for styrofoam bottle shapes to no avail.

Thx in advance for ideas.

AHi, what exactly do you need to do? is it a bottle on top of a cake? Sorry just wondering why weight is a issue. I make all big 'constructions' from cadburys modelling chocolate but im thinking this will be to heavy but it doesnt need to be solid chocolate you could just mould it round a real bottle in two halves. Does that make any sense??
