AYou'd need to print an edible image (using a printer with food coloring and something like rice paper) then transfer that to your fondant/gp.

Depending on the design/complexity and how many copys you need, you could hand paint them or make a stencil (or template) and cut it out from Gumpaste.

AIf you make a stencil you'd want to use royal.

You could also make a BC/royal icing transfer.

If you need multiple images, like for cupcake toppers or cookies, the printer is going to be the quickest.

I think there is a way of doing it with rice paper and icing gel.
