Hi everyone,

I'm hoping for some help please!  I have been asked to make a version of this cake and because I'm usually a cupcake kinda girl, I'm not sure how best to go about attaching the roses...  I was going to assemble the cake at the venue so what do you think would be best?

Thank you in advance :-)

AWhat a lovely cake. I'd say toothpicks and royal icing. I would also assemble on site. Will be interested to see what others say.

there would be many ways to attach them--i would do it with the buttercream icing used in the cake part--the roses would sit on the ledge for the most part-- the petals are the only things defying gravity and they are light enough to adhere with buttercream--any buttercream--especially if you decorate on site--no problem--
