Hi There,

i have been asked to make a cake for a couple of friends and they have asked for a fonadant frying pan to be placed on the cake as a joke. ive tried to mould the shape in to a pan but the icing underneath doesnt dry unless exposed to the air and cant seem to get it to hold its shape

if anyone has tips that could help i would be so grateful

Not sure how big you want this to be but why not cover the bottom of a bowl with some plastic wrap and then drape the fondant over that. let it set over night before removing it to harden up more. it will be still pliable enough in the centre to skewer the handle to it for better support. I would make it in two parts. good luck
