hi guys,

do you guys sift your fruit purees after boiling it before adding it to cake or frosting mix?

Strawberry seeds don't bother me quite so much, but raspberry, blackberry, etc., gets strained through a very fine sieve. Some people like them; I just can't enjoy what I'm eating if I'm crunching down on those little suckers.

Absolutely, doesn't just get rid of seeds, but also little chunks of fruit/berry that didn't completely break down.
