AHi Everyone,

I am new on here and a relatively new cake maker. I have done 7 cakes so far. Each getting better everytime. What I would like to know is how I go about molding with Rice Krispy treats and how I go about making them?

I am doing a teapot cake for the Macmillan Coffee Morning and I want it to look fab as there will be alot of people seeing this!

Also dont want the spout and handle being too heavy and ripping the cake.

thanks in advance. xxx

Hi Ashley, cake carving is an art in itself and takes a bit of practice, but for a teapot shaped cake it's actually much easier to make a cake in a ball-shaped pan or into two pudding bowls. I have some tutorials and examples that should help here: http://cakegeek.co.uk/index.php/teapot-cakes/. It's a great cake to make and gets every body talking at a party so best of luck with it!
