AI had a client ask for "sour cream filling" for her cake. I have never heard of this before. I did a quick search on google and it looks like it's a southern thing. Haha! I saw a few recipes, but I wanted to know if you ladies had a good one. Thanks so much!

1/2 cup whipping cream

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup confectioners sugar

1 tsp vanilla or vanilla bean paste

Whip cream until soft peaks form, add vanilla.  Whip in the confectioners sugar a little at a time.  Add the sour cream and whip until blended.  Refrigerate the filling for several hours to firm up.

This tastes amazing and can be flavored with orange, lemon, lime, almond etc.
