Did you come across any "dangerous cats" ?

Mmmmmmmmmm.........rabid cat soup!
No dangerous cats...can have your choice of chipmunks, grey squirrels, ground squirrels, rats, pack rats, mice, bats..... I'm sure adding some of those to that soup would make it "hearty".
those are too low brow for my frosted soup...I use the lice from the mice. Quite a delicacy in these parts...
I can send you some lice from deer, carpenter ants for protein, and meat bees for color....
are these bees made from meat or bees that eat meat? Because I am lacking in the former and in dire need of the latter. I can only pay you for ingredients though
BatterUp, they are meat eating bees that sting worse than regular bees or even yellow jackets! If it's meat yo need, pack rats will supply that, and you can use their long, thin tails to stir the soup. JWinslow, yes, all kinds of different hairs for all kinds of different tastes. If you'd like, I can even get your some tree frogs to add variety. Cakeyouverymuch....if only it were soup!
I can add raccoons, crows, and Scrumdiddly's cat.
And the Golden Lab next door if she DOESN'T SHUT UP!!!
If I still lived where I grew up, I could add peacocks.
I'm one up on you guys. We have kangaroos, which not only have hair but great big tails so we can make cauldrons of hair soup at a time that can be stirred with the tails. This will give us a business advantage as we will be able to flood the market with hair soup. We will also offer it without frosting for those who do not like things too sweet.

I am having so much fun reading this. Just when I think everything has been said and the subject exhausted, one of you comes up with a whole new twist. I wish I could contribute, but I am always a day late and a dollar short. Meanwhile, I am continually in stitches.

"Meanwhile, I am continually in stitches." Stitches may have a thing or 2 to say about that. Don't kiss and tell!

You said...coc...never mind.:P
Leave it to the Aussies to have a leg up on us with cauldrons and kangaroo tails! But....our hair soup will still sell faster because of the frosting and fondue we've added. Americans have a big sweet tooth!
Just a wee bit, Shanter, just a wee bit! But that's what makes the world go 'round!!!
I can contribute skunks and possums. They've already eaten all my grapes, peaches and plums. And just think: the thick, scaly possum tails are much sturdier than pack rat's tails for stirring the soup if you happen to add too much hair! As for the skunk, don't forget that a little goes a looooooooog way, so you just need to add a tad, right at the last. Mmmmmmmm, I can taste it now, served cold so the frosting doesn't melt.

Jan, adding the skunk will surely give your kitchen a scent that you will never forget. It'll probably also stick to that possum tail so you can then stir other soups, stews, etc., with it and continue to add that wonderful scent to all your cooking!
