AHi, I searched for an answer but didnt find it. I was hoping someone could help. I'm making a cake for this weekend for my Aunt. I'm using the peanut butter mousse and peanut butter buttercream. Can I make the cake and store it on the counter overnight? I don't have ac, and live on the ocean so it's hot and humid. I don't want the cake to be dry at all, so I'm afraid to put it in the fridge.

AIf you have a recipe that's non perishable it will be fine, my mousse requires refrigeration.

AThe recipes have cream cheese and whipping cream, so perishable.

Even if I had AC I would put that cake in the frig until about 2 hours before the party.
