I'm making a 2 tiered engagement cake for my sister, and want to make a gumpaste rose bouquet on top. I love these shades of purple, but I know I won't be able to find these exact colors. Anyone have suggestions on what colors I can use to mix together (also please include name brands too).  Thanks!!

(there should be an attachment in the post, still new to this site trying to figure it out)

AYou can get almost any shade you want these days. I would suggest using grape violet by Sugarflair, they have recently brought out more colours. But basically dye a chunk really dark and then to go lighter and lighter to blend in all the flowers just add more white each time and then they'll all be from the grape violet shade. You can also buy dusting powder to accent. I've attached a picture (hopefully) to show a rose using grape violet.

Thanks so much! I would have wasted a lot of gumpaste "experimenting" HA!  Those roses look great by the way!
