I'd like to make a Blue Wedgewood inspired cake, and wonder if any of you have any suggestions as to what gel colors to combine to achieve that dusty blue color?
AI just bought a color today called "wedgewood Blue" by chef colors or chefmaster (sorry I can't be more specific) at my local cake decorating supply..but if you have the time maybe do a google search and order it?
Thanks, did a thorough search online with no success....however someone somewhere said if you add a touch of orange to wilton's sky blue, it would achieve a wedgewood blue.....nothing to lose!

^^found it! I was determined lol. Your idea sounds good too and if you already have those colors in hand it's certainly easier. Maybe you could use this for future reference if you ever need the color again
I got a last minute wedding cake to do, so I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I will be sure to post as soon as I do!
I've made 4 Wedgewood inspired cakes and found some great molds for the white portions. Check out her basket, it's one was my favorites. I'll upload pics and post soon of my cake. Good luck!
