I have a bottle of confectionary glaze that I bought about 2 years ago to shine up a wooden floor for my cake scene.  I didn't like the smell and was concerned until I read a post on here that says it supposed to smell like that.  I really liked how it made the floor shine!!  I never used it again but now I have a need to use it.  Does anyone know if it goes bad?  I don't see an expiration date on the bottle and I hate to buy a new one that I may not use again for another 2 years!  Help....

Thank you.

I'm not sure that it really goes bad. .. I would contact the manufacturer and ask them directly.  Once stated using confectioners glaze,  I use it all the time.  Mostly paint with it by adding to powdered colors and coloring my own dragees again with powdered colors for customization.  I also use it to add shine to cake as you mentioned with the floor scene.  Hope that helps :)
