I was asked to make my first cake for a costumer, and it is a Karate Uniform cake all white with the belt ect. Can someone please help me out on carving it out and shaping it to make that certain shape and decor also. Do I need to cut out a paper? thanks!:) If there's a tutorial please send a link also I am desperate thanks!:)

No tutorial needed.  Just takes a small bit of carving on the sides and at the neck.  I always just eyeball it (there is a photo either in my pics on here or definitely on my website), but if you feel more comfortable, just draw it out on large card stock (may have to tape a few pieces together), cut the cardstock and lay that over the cake.  Enjoy!

Maybe you can do it like a sport's jersey cake.  use a 9x13 pan cover with fondant and add fondant sleeves jus folded over, then add the right color belt. This is a pretty easy cake to make. no carving.AppleMark

How do you make the collar?

ACut a very long piece of fondant about 2 - 2 1/2 inch wide. Loop at top like a collar and bring the two pieces down the front side by side. Add some stitching too ! I think it would look perfect !
