I have been asked to make a full sheet flag cake for Sunday.  They only want whipped cream frosting and specifically said no BC and they do not want the flag made of fruit.  I am at a loss.  I do not work with anything other than fondant for the most part so I have no idea how to do the flag and what would hold up over whipped cream.  Any help of suggestions would be soooo very much appreciated.  It is for a friend's boy scouts troup and is basically a donated cake but I still want it to be beautiful and special.

Thank you in advance!!

If your grocery store doesn't carry those, ask them to special order (made by Kraft).

Most of the kids in my neighborhood love cakes made with colorful candy!!! Just another different thought!!! I really don't have too many other ideas!!!  I can not imagine anyone not liking fruit on top of cakes!!! To each his own, I guess!!! Good luck and I am sure whatever you make they will love it!!!

I would get the "sixlets" candies in the colors you need and make the design with them. I get mine from a company called nuts.com and they deliver in 2-3 days

Can't you just color the whip cream red and blue? I have only ever done it with jello or pudding but you can use your gel colors too.
