Does anyone know of a sugar free frosting recipe that doesn't need to be refrigerated? The only recipe I have is for box of instant sugar free pudding and whipping cream. I need it for a cake I'm making later this week. I can't think of anything to use, but it has to be able to sit out for a few hours. Any suggestions??

maybe tried the 'boiled' fristing & use splenda instead of sugar...never tried it but it is all I can think of...good luck

AThank you, I never though of trying to make a boiled frosting but switch out the sugar for sugar substitute. I guess I'll start making small batches of ones to try!
