For my children's school's Teddy Bear Picnic for the new P1 pupils I made some teddy bear cake pops with my children.  We made far too many balls, but I put them all on sticks and coated them with chocolate.  I decorated the ones that we needed and then went to lie down with a headache, leaving the extra pops on my kitchen table.  Which would have been fine, normally, except we're experiencing sunshine!  In Scotland!  And I didn't count on the open door and the shifting of the sun in time, and came back to a very brown mess on my table :-P

At least I had put the decorated ones in the fridge, and there they will stay  until they are to be eaten :-)  I am not likely to bother with the faff of cake pops again(especially not with the children "helping"), but at least we are getting some sunshine - can't complain about that!
