Hello! I've seen some other Hello Kitty head help questions, but I am looking to make this top. It appears to me to be made from the molded pan, but does anyone think that cake would actually stand up like that on dowels? If the top cake tier was 6", could this be molded out of RKT and covered in fondant?

Any tips are greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

You could use a pan and press it in or you could take a slab and cut it out with a template. I would probably use some royal icing and some cardboard or plywood if it is six inches wide and put some dowels behind it. If you are selling this cake look at Jason_kraft's blog post about licensed characters.
