Gender Reveal Party.... Ideas???

AHey everybody!!!! I'm in need of some ideas for a cake and some cupcakes ( just decoration ) for a gender reveal party. It's for this Saturday so any help appreciated : ) xx
AAre you throwing or attending the party or is this for a customer? Will the reveal be based on the party decorations or will the reveal happen when people bite into the cupcakes? If it is going to be when they bite into the cake, then really any baby theme should be fine, such as baby blocks, jungle or zoo animals, baby footprints, etc. If the party decorations are based on the gender, then you could just do something in blue or pink. Or you could do items that people associate with a certain gender child, such as bugs, puppies, dinosaurs, cars/trucks for a boy and flowers, kittens, dolls, bows, etc. for a girl.
AThanks for the response, its for a customer and I just wanted something to top the cakes/cupcakes with. I do like the idea of the footprints and babyblocks!!
If you know the gender of the baby I would make the inside of the cupcakes/cake either pink or blue to match, just to follow the theme.
(I'm assuming the cakes/cupcakes aren't the reveal, since you said they were just decoration.)
Is there a theme besides the reveal itself? I have seen some with bumblebees that say things like 'what will it bee', or owls saying 'who will it be'.
Or just a clash of stereotypical girl/boy things, like a toy truck and a ballet slipper as cupcake toppers.
You can find chocolate molds for baby related items (pins, onesies, etc) to put on the cupcakes. Or if you find a square mold (or square silicone ice cube tray) you can make baby blocks with letters on them.
AThanks for the ideas!! I absolutely adore the pins so will definitely be trying those out.
Here's one I did. I just did a general search here on cc and the internet for "gender reveal" to get ideas.

Ahttp://cakecentral.com/g/i/2106240/a/2107236/. This is the cake I did for my friend's baby gender reveal party. The 'box' on top was the reveal cake. I used pink raspberry buttercream for the filling which obviously meant it was a girl!
How about a pink and blue present? "He or she? open to see" Or I saw a cute one some that said "Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are" and it was blue with clouds and stars.
