I've been asked to do a baby butt cake to serve 40 people. Does anyone have any suggestions for pan sizes to achieve this? It'll be my first time making this type of cake, but I've looked at alot of photos of similar cakes and they all seem to have small bases. I'm not expecting many servings out of the butt itself, so I'm thinking about two 9x13 cakes? I'm just concerned it'll be too much cake under the butt, taking attention away from the butt itself? Any thoughts would be appreciated!  :)

I always put my baby butt cakes on a round cake.  The half ball pan for the butt...on a 10" round double will get you your servings.
