This is my favorite whipped buttercream recipe. It does take some time but it is so worth it. Give it a try! icon_smile.gif

The Whimsical Bakehouse house buttercream recipe (not the IMBC recipe) is a whipped buttercream and is delicious and pretty easy to make.

AHow long can a buttercream be out of the fridge for after you iced the middle of the cakes then put fondant on the outside? I'm doing a wedding cake and I need to make the cakes up on fri morning and give the cake that day but wedding isn't till the sat . But I don't want the girl to put the cake in the fridge over night cause it will have fondant on the cakes?

AI've had my buttercream sit out for a couple days and it was fine , I've read on here that the high sugar content preserves the buttercream.
