AI'm planning to make a 2 tier (9 inch & 6 inch) fondant cake for my boyfriend's mom this weekend for Mother's day, but not sure if it will hold up well in the 5-6 hour drive in California weather. I really prefer to make it before arrival to surprise her. I want to use IMBC under the marshmello fondant with a strawberry filling. I want to mix the strawberry filling with some whipped cream, but afraid it might melt on the drive, so I might just use strawberry filling alone if you guys recommend that. Has anyone ever delivered a cake that long without it falling apart?

I will assemble the tiers there though.
