AHello Im making my nephews birthday cake and he loves chocolate. I figured I would make his cake a pirate ship and wanted to have chocolate fondant on top. Can I do it some how with cocoa powder or should I just dye it brown and flavor it with a extract type thing? Thoughts? Thank you in advance.

To make my chocolate fondant I take a bag of mini marshmallows and a cup of chocolate chips and a couple tablespoons of oil. Put it all in a bowl and melt it in the microwave in 30 seconds burst until it is all melted and smooth, then mix in powdered sugar until it's a good fondant consistency.
