Can I Cover A Cake With Fondant When It's Frozen

Ahello i am baking a cake tommrow and freze it for about 5 hours them taking it out and filling and icing it would i be able to place my fondant letters and boarder on the cake while frozen also if i was to fill and ice the cake while froxen and i decided to cover it all in foundant could i while its frozen?

your fondant might get wet & sticky from condensation over time as the cake thaws out. I learned the hard way - even though I let my rock hard/frozen cakes thaw for a couple hours (forgot to take them out before going to my full time job).  

I covered them with fondant before going to bed - by morning they were very wet/sticky. I didnt have much time left so i patted it down with a cornstarch/p.sugar puff to help dry it out.  My frozen cakes were torted & dirty iced prior to freezing - maybe this made a difference??

 

I did go thru the forum later on and read not to do it as well.
