AHi.

Could you advice me on how you imprint in sponge.

I saw a British cake baker show, and the baker made a mixture and piped a design on the baking tray. She froze the tray in the freezer for a few hours and then poured her batter/mixture over the frozen tray.

When she took it out the oven, the cake sponge had the designs in it.

They didn't explain what she used as a mixture for the piping/design on tray.

Any ideas to assist me?

Thank you in advance.

hi, i recently made one following a tutorial on youtube. it is made by taking some of the cake batter (with added corn flour and colour) then drawing the design you want. freeze it then you're ready to pour the cake batter. it's fun and easy to do!
