Hello, I've been asked to make 3 tiered cake pop wedding cake. Has anyone ever constructed one before? I was wondering if you used fondant to cover the styrofoam or paper? The cake should look like these http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nmQp-eNfmIA/UHHLwQG86iI/AAAAAAAAFgQ/i1fFXGeR12k/s1600/6_austincakeballdotcom_wp-content_gallery_weddingcakes_cake-ball-wedding-cake-and-platters.jpg
I'm practicing now with fondant and it is isn't working out too well, is either too thick and drying hard or too thin and tearing. The wedding is a month away.
Any suggestions would help, thanks!
Hi there! I make Cake Bite Wedding Cakes. I'm not sure about cake pop, but the cake bite cakes look very similar to the picture that you posted. Check out some of my cakes and let me know if this is something that would work! I use styrofoam covered in fondant. Then I attached cake bites (balls) to it using toothpicks and a little candy melts.

AThanks so much, your cakes look beautiful! How do they serve the cake, just pull and place on a plate?
