I am making a minnie mouse cake and I want to use those premade icing decorations of Minnie's face.

I want to attach those icing decorations to a fondant covered cake.  How do I do this?  Do I use royal icing (this is the ONLY bit of RI I will need so is there a smaller recipe?)

Is there anything else I can use?

TIA!!

If the premade decorations are made of fondant, you can just brush the back of the decoration with water and attach it to the cake. Fondant + water = sticky. If the decorations are made of anything else, I use frosting or melted chocolate to attach. icon_smile.gif

I use piping gel sometimes if I'm attaching something a little heavier. Water for everything else.
