I want to make a cake topper of two birds sitting on a swing hanging on a branch. How can I create a curved branch to support the swing, that won't break?

pvc plumbing pipe with an elbow joint would be one way
go to a plumbing store or the plumbing department and you'll find the materials
also copper tubing would work or foam
