My neighbor asked me to make a teapot cake for her mothers bday I have read a lot online about making them. I know I could do it but my question is can I just use a doctored cake mix? Will it be strong enough to hold the shape? I have never made a pound cake before and not sure if they are any good. Any input would help thank you.
