Looking for suggestions on how to glue isomalt jewels on to fondant covered cakes - have used piping gel but they tend to slip off if on sides of cake and royal icing shows through the jewel.

Hi Leonie

Try making a glue by melting some fondant in the microwave for a few seconds - taking care not to overheat it. Dab a little of the sugar glue at the base of the isomalt jewels or directly onto the fondant. Use suitable food craft tweezers to place jewels on cake.

Good luck and happy decorating!!

Hope this helps!
