AHi you guys!!!! Im a newbie here at the forum, this is my second post.... Everyone here is sooo helpful!

I was wondering if any of you guys have a good recepi of rice krispies that is good for carvin.... Im making a dog face thats popping out of a cake gift box, I saw it I think here at cakecentral and loved it... thank you!

I make it as per the box less some of the butter.  Some people leave out all the butter. I know some people grind up the rice krispies for a smoother final look.  I also cover mine with chocolate melts before I fondant and someone on this site suggested putting royal icing on prior to fondant.  I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like they get great results.

You could also just sculpt it out of modeling chocolate.

I found a recipe right after posting the question lol, found it here and made it yesterday, havent carved yet but ill let youknow how it turned out..... Havent work with modeling chocolate, dont know how to make it though ...
