hai..i try to make a fondant icing with black colour.. but till now i always get the dark blue or pupplish colour of the fondant..

Hi, the easiest way is to buy the fondant already black. You have to use too much black color and it makes it sticky , etc So, now i just buy the black.

ok..tq for ur advice.. think that just buy the gel colour for royal icing.. or..buy the ready made fondant ;)

It's best if you buy primary colors like red and black. The amount of gel paste you need to add to get a true black will totally ruin the taste of your fondant....Ask me how I know.

I was just reading here on C.C that some folk start out with chocolate fondant and THEN add black coloring. You might want to try that method.
