Hi, I've currently got this cake in the oven...

I followed the instructions to the letter, but I have never made such a heavy, bread-like batter before! I'm now really worried that the cake is going to be disastrous. Has anyone else attempted this recipe?
I'm so easily swayed by recipes claiming to be 'the perfect' something!
