we served ours in little cups with lids

the kind that you get salad dressing in when you get a carry out

this style

we 'cut to order' and offered lids to folks who wanted to eat it later

if you can set up a tv or a monitor or dvd player with your cake pictures continually playing

put it up high so it can be seen even if there's people in front of your table

like on a pretty pedastel

but here in the u.s. locally these are under fifly dollars easy peasy

the link is just to give a visual

maybe

edited to say--(maybe we used plates i can't remember but i like this idea better ;)

AThis is an easy and cute way to serve cake to go: http://pinterest.com/pin/263812490642500174/ Obv, you'd attach a business card instead of price tag.

Pretty table linens. Maybe some strings of white lights? I like the tv idea! You could use a digital photo frame.
