I have a beach theme cake I am working on and I can't figure out how to make the beach chair.  The model I am looking at has wooden arms and legs, but I can't get the fondant/gumpaste to attach to the dowel rods I am using.  Is there a better way??  Thanks for any help!!

Hi Merri.  Global Sugar Art has a 3D deck chair cutter set that is really cute, but it may be too late to order since it sounds like you are working on your cake now.   Have you tried using gum glue to attach the fondant?

Use melted white or colored melts to attach quickly
