Hi Guys,

I bake my cookies at 350 so that they will spread a little wider. Today I'm trying a new silicone baking mat and the cookies are spreading waaaay out, like an inch wider than usual. Do you find this to be typical with the silicone mat?

I found that a silicone cupcake pan set on a cookie sheet baked MUCH faster than a metal cupcake pan.  I have not tried any silicone ware since.

So maybe drop your temperature to 300F and see how they spread.  Increase to 325F if necessary.

thanks for the reply.

i've added a little more flour and that seems to be slowing the spread. it's probably the wrong season to try new pans! :D
