Hi all,

Please have a look at the toy in the pix, my customer will like that as a cake!. Has any one made a similar cake before or has an idea on how to go about making such a cake.

That looks a fun cake to make :) my approach would probably be three cupcakes atop a carved 10" round. I'd give the base a little extra height than the toy has so they have plenty of cake to enjoy. you could keep the cupcakes seperate for transport and just place them on for the party.

AMaybe the buttons could be shaped cake balls... I do agree that it does look like a fun cake!

Many thanks for your responses. It surely looks like a fun cake, no doubt one that will take alot of time. Customer wants the toy cake to be one another big cake (15" by 11"). I need to think really really hard before i can give a  quote
