Can anybody tell me what the best way is to make the arms as in this cake video.

I know how to make them but how do I get them to stay up? And also what is the best way to make the golf club? Would I need to use a certain type of sugarpaste in order for it not to bend.

Maybe you could use heavy floral wire, like a 18 or 20 gauge,  form your arms on the wire, and then either just poke the wire in your figure, or use a coffee stirer filled with royal icing that you  insert in your figure the wire in the stirer, using the wire would let you place the arms in what ever position you wanted them to be, (Ithink).

I would have thought that the whole body apart from the head was built up around a wire frame using either modelling chocolate or flower/modelling paste. It is probably the way I would go if I had to make it.
