I have to make a cake for a fundraiser just two layers made to look like an ipad box. I thought I would do Marble since I never tried it before and am getting tired of the same old flavors. Any ideas that aren't too complicated maybe a good marble cake recipe....I'm open to suggestions...

Marble cake is traditionally chocolate and white or yellow swirled together.  Make white or yellow cake batter.  Make chocolate batter.  put some of both in pan.  swirl.  Bam - marble cake.

When you make your yellow or white batter - before you pour it in the pan, remove about 1/2 to 1 cup of it.  Add to that some UNsweet cocoa powder - I never measured it, just added until it was dark enough to suite me, then drop that batter in by spoonfuls.  Take a fork and draw it through the batter the length, then the width of the pan 2 or 3 times - no more!
