Just checking on future orders, and have been reminded that in a months time I have a 4 tier cake - 12" fruit, 10" victoria sponge, 8" lemon sponge, 6" fruit cake (couple want to keep 6" for Christening). Slightly concerned that the fruit cake is going to cause me hassle when I stack it on top of the sponges. I normally use cake boards on boba straws & dowel inside and have no problems, but think I may need something even more failsafe to tackle the fruit on sponge dilemma. I've never stacked fruit on sponge, but am told by experienced others that they have done it many times without a problem and the bride was adamant she wanted fruit on top icon_cry.gif .We can't get SPS here in UK unfortunately - otherwise I'd go for that. (although tbh the thought of chasing for it to be sent back after the wedding doesn't fill me with much joy).

Love to hear your thoughts and what would you suggest I should do for the best?
