I've had a request for a cake w/peach filling - does anyone have a recipe they can recommend? Thanks!

Try boiling canned peaches with a cup of water including the juices included in the can, some sugar to your liking until they are tender ( about an hour) . Once done add 1/4 tsp of unflavored gelatine. Puree everything in a blender and viola.

You can also do the above and mix it with the scratch pastry cream recipe here on CC and you have a peach custard. Taste delicious.

To boost the peachiness, use LorAnn candy flavour--just a FEW DROPS. It tastes really good mixed with buttercream or the fruit filling.

Or else use peach jam and peach jello cooked together for a firm setting fruit filling.

And don't fill too thick...
