I am doing a square wedding cake with several tiers the top couple being fake as we don't need that much cake. It will be iced in Buttercream. I will be making gumpaste flowers and fall leaves for it. I have a couple questions.

When doing a continuous cascade down the side of the cake is 3 inch difference too much or should it be two (i.e. 6-8-10 or 6-9-12)?

Because I have to drive a distance with my cakes I was wondering if I could wire the flowers all together and just drape it down the side of the cake in one long piece?

Thanks in advance for your help!

What kind of flowers are you doing?

Just got what the flowers are.... gerbera daisies, sunflowers, fall leaves, possibly wheat if I can figure out how to do that.
