I need to make one Birthday cake the person wants a hockey team and a football team on the same cake any suggestions? If anyone has done this do you have a picture?

I thought of a half sheet cake with a T-shirt of each team on either side, icing the cake one side white for the ice the other green for grass. Or a tiered cake ??

Another suggestion: you could do a small 2-tier cake and devote each tier to each team.

I'd go the tiered cake route. I'd try to do the tiers at the jerseys (like the baseball jersey I did on my red sox cake) and then do a topper with a football and hockey sticks!

Use one larger round tier and divide it with a curving line like the Chinese yin-yang symbol. That gives each time equal space for decorating.
