I was asked by my boss at work to make a chocolate cake for her husband's birthday this Saturday. She didn't specify any design. She just said he likes chocolate. I'm stumped on the design. Any suggestions? Should I cover in ganache? Anyone have a good ganache recipe? And instructions too? It's also going to be a mini tiered cake. 6 and 4 inch....Thx!
Ok, so I was thinking maybe the ganache dripping down the sides look? How would I do that? I was planning on using a whipped icing which has cream cheese. Will the ganache hold on top of that ok or should I use a buttercream instead? Thanks.
