How dumb am I? My first try at making a gourmet cake from Macsmom's list she posted and darn if I didnt forget to add the cinnamon swirl in the batter. Duh! I made the cream cheese filling just fine. I did add some cinnamon coffee syrup to the cake batter but they dont even smell like cinnamon icon_sad.gif What to do? How do I add some cinnamon-y goodness to this wreck? What kind of frosting should I use?
Help me cake pros, help me!!!

Yep, been there, done that..same recipe and I forgot the swirl! My mistake was while making cupcakes though and so only happened on one tray of cupcakes. I don't know if this is the best answer, but I'll tell you what I did. I took the swirl mixture and put a layer of it on top of the cupcake and then frosted with the cream cheese frosting. There's nothing in the swirl that HAS to be baked, right? Anyhow, I still got that cinnamon buttery taste!
