Ok, so I have made some alstroemaria flowers on wires with gumpaste. THey turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. Any way, it doesn't seem like I should just shove them in the cake. How would I go about point this? Do I use a flower pic, or does any one have any suggestions?

You can use straws or coffee stirers and yes, the flower picks from wilton.They are saying no no to putting them direct into cake. I see a lot of people still doing that(famous, etc.) hth
