Hi fellow CCers ,
I am looking for a chocolate cake recipe that I can use as an all purpose go to cake. I have tried a few recipes, Martha Stewart, the cake bible, crumb boss, box mix recipes, etc. I still haven't found one that I think the folks here in Omaha would enjoy. Do any of you have a favorite recipe that you would be willing to share? Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to read this. I really appreciate it.

You will get many ideas. I love the herseys cake, many on here sub. the milk for sour cream( same amt.) to help it not to sink in the middle. I love the one on epicurous(double chocolate) I love the one from Sweetalpia(sp). that is great. hope i have helped you.

I was going to reply Martha's One Bowl chocolate cake is what my go to is... Friends/Family/Strangers have given me compliments on this one!

I used to use Hershey's but I've switched to Martha's One Bowl chocolate cake. It is really moist and chocolatey and I've gotten nothing but rave reviews.

I am in the kitchen now working on a few of the recipes!
