Cute! Carving and icing is harder than it looks, isn't it??? icon_smile.gif

Thank Y'all icon_smile.gif
I was definitely not expecting it to be as difficult as it was LOL but over all not bad. I just need to figure out a better way to transfer the carved cake to the board better!! I did learn a lot form this cake & cant wait to improve over time! Thanks for all the great comments

Good job - I bet whoever received this loved it! One thing I like is that you realized that the typical shiny gold/silver foil covered board would have taken away from the cake. That red color really looks nice as a background. Many newbies forget the effect the board has.

It looks lovely: good job!!

I have a question about MMF. I covered a cake with MMF (home-made) and found it was rubbery/chewy when we cut the cake - does anyone have any ideas?
