I have an order for a cake in which the customer wants a small 3D puppy ontop.I had seen a few cake that show a cute puppy ontop made with a cupcake.

Does anyone have a tutorial to show how to do this?The fur drapes to the floor kinda...

Maybe if you post a picture of what you are refering to someone may be able to give you some help on how to do it.

This furry dog is a rectangle of cake. Not necessarily a cupcake although it would be the mini-loaf pan if you wanted to bake them separately.

You bake a sheet cake and cut it into rectangles about 2" x 4". Slice and fill if you like.

Make buttercream and put it into a bag with a star tube and just pipe shaggy for all over. The face gets done last as you see in the picture.
